Our Mission
At Cheadle Preschool and Day Nursery, we focus on the unique child, working closely with you to follow their individual interests and needs. When your child first starts with us, we take our lead from your existing routine. Parents are involved in all aspects of their child's learning and development. At our preschool in Cheadle, we offer a stimulating and nurturing environment that encourages children to express themselves in many different ways. We also place great emphasis on developing independence, friendships, and happiness. Our aim is to create a community at Cheadle Preschool and Day Nursery, developing strong partnerships with parents.
Baby Room
Our babies are cared for for by an experienced team in a very homely environment. There are a number of areas for the babies to explore and investigate. There is a cosy corner, home corner, physical area and exploration and investigative area. Babies have a separate cosy, quiet, calm cot room to fall asleep peacefully. Our environment is set up to create a warm secure and stimulating environment encouraging your baby to explore, make friends and understand the world around them.
Toddlers Room
The Toddlers Room is a hive of activity and fun, challenging your children in a happy and safe and stimulating environment. There are lots of areas and activities which will develop your child's imagination, communication and physical skills. Our staff offer so much praise and encouragement which will ensure that the children believe in themselves and continually feel a sense of achievement. We focus greatly on independence encouraging your child to be independent throughout the day, from helping set up and clearing at meal times to beginning to dress themselves.
Preschool
Our Preschool is led by an experienced level 6 teacher and enthusiastic early years practitioners who create a well-planned routine bursting with fun and excitement. At our preschool in Cheadle, we nurture children's learning and development within the EYFS framework through a mix of adult-led input and child-initiated play. Our dedicated teachers prepare children for their transition to primary school, ensuring they are well-equipped for their next steps.
